ESRA ÖZCAN

Esra Özcan

MSc Educational Leadership

Esra Özcan (MSc Educational Leadership) is executive director committed to smooth operation and realization of all organizational and developmental issues at Koç University Law School. In her role, she contributes to internationalization strategy of the Law School to enhance its global presence by planning international academic activities and LLM and PhD programs. She also works on joint programs and conferences. She received outstanding service award delivered by President in 2015. Esra has been involved in the LSGL organization management since 2013 and has taken actively part in the events planning and coordination of the LSGL work progress. She has also been running the League’s administrative tasks as Presidency office representative. She has studied education in Leicester UK, Istanbul Turkey and Madrid, Spain and speaks Turkish, English and Spanish.

Christina Castilho

International Affairs Office at FGV DIREITO SP

Christina Castilho (BA Social Communications) works at the International Affairs Office at FGV DIREITO SP. In this role, she works directly with the Associate Dean of International Affairs, regarding the International Agreements of DIREITO SP, also Coordinate the Incoming and Outgoing exchange Students, and responsible for the whole process of Visiting Professors at DIREITO SP. During the time that DIREITO SP was responsible for the LSGL Presidency, Christina was also supporting the Presidency of the League, in the Administrative area, assisting the Host Universities and contact with the other members.

Ravit Kaul Cohen

Project Manager at the Interdisciplinary Center


Ravit Kaul Cohen is a Project Manager at the Interdisciplinary Center, Israel. She is responsible for the overall content development of the Law School as well as social media. She is also in charge of the Visiting Professors’ Program of the school. Before joining IDC, Ravit Kaul Cohen worked as a commercial lawyer.

Yong Lyu

Deputy Director of International Office of China University

Yong LYU is Deputy Director of International Office of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). He is responsible for seeking partnership and implementing collaborative programs between CUPL and institutions in other countries and in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Since CUPL joined LSGL, he has been serving as the liaison, and attended the LSGL annual meeting hosted by Koc University in Turkey.

Ileana Jinich

Associate Director of the International Office

Ileana Jinich coordinates ITAM’s international initiatives as the Associate Director of the International Office, bringing a wealth of experience from international organizations in Mexico and abroad. Ileana was Executive Director in Mexico of the international organization, Peraj, a mentoring program, pairing volunteers at over seventy Mexican universities with at-risk primary school students. She also worked at Crimson & Brown Associates recruiters in Boston and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund in Minneapolis. In addition to her work in education and philanthropy, she worked in the agribusiness sector as Marketing Director of a Mexican high tech greenhouse park, exporting produce to the American and Canadian markets. She also lived in Los Angeles, California where she worked as a producer for “To the Point” and “Which Way LA”, national and public affairs radio programs. Mrs. Jinich holds a BS in Economics and a Master’s Degree in International Business from ITAM, and a Top Management Program AD-1 from IPADE.

Irèna Wasserfall

Non-practising attorney

Irèna Wasserfall (Bjuris, LLB) is a non-practising attorney who manages UCT Law@work in the Faculty of Law at the University of Cape Town. This unit is self funded, offering short courses, seminars and workshops at a tertiary level, and provides a third stream income for the faculty to use for scholarships and staff development. Irèna has been involved with the Law Schools Global League since 2014 when she was kindly hosted by Koc University at the 2nd LSGL Summer School and 1st Academic Meeting. Irèna was nominated by the Dean of the faculty to plan and manage the 3rd LSGL Summer School, the 2nd Academic Meeting and the 1st Administrative Meeting which took place in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2015.

Isabel Garcés

International Activities Coordinator of IE Law School

Isabel Garcés International Activities Coordinator of IE Law School. She Is also coordinator of the PEREZ LLORCA / IE Chair for Commercial Law and Center for European Studies of IE University. Previously She has worked as legal adviser to Dow Chemical Iberica S.A. Academic background: Licenciado en Derecho degree, Universidad Complutense de Madrid LL.M; IE Law School, Madrid

Janet. A Garesché

Director of Executive LLM

Janet Garescheé Director of Executive LLM and Tax Programs provides senior-level administrative and academic support to the Executive LLM and Tax Programs. Janet delivers and leads strategic planning, marketing, student recruitment, as well as fiscal management to various international programs and new initiatives. In her role, she ensures that the non-traditional LLM programs enhance the law school’s global imprint, recruit distinguished applicants and ensures that the student experience, from applicant to alumni is positive, productive and rewarding.

Juliann Cecch

Assistant Dean of External Partnerships

Juliann Cecchi Assistant Dean, External Partnerships, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Juliann is Assistant Dean of External Partnerships. In this role, she is responsible for supporting and enhancing the strategic initiatives of the Law School in the critical areas of external relations, outreach and business development. Working across the Law School, she is responsible for leading a cohesive and proactive external affairs strategy to further the Law School brand, build relationships, and create mutually beneficial partnerships. In addition, she is responsible for the overall administrative direction for the Law Board, whose members help to frame and support the mission of the school by monitoring the implementation of strategic plans and provide support and advice to the dean, faculty and administration. Juliann has been a key member of the Law School’s administrative team since 2001 directing the Professional Education and Corporate Relations department where she was, and continues to be, responsible for the leadership, direction and revenue generation of the non-degree continuing legal education programs for practicing attorneys as well as all sponsorship fundraising with firms and corporations. She has built a wide array of relationships in the legal community nationally and internationally with firm attorneys, in-house counsel and government officials engaging them in programing and strengthening the Northwestern Law brand.

Mary Anne Leenheer

Head of Academic Exchange

Mary Anne Leenheer Head of Academic Exchange, Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, ITAM, Mexico City Mary Anne Leenheer, an American citizen, has lived in Mexico City for over 30 years and has been the Head of Academic Exchange at ITAM since 1993. ITAM has over 140 exchange agreements around the world and receives approximately 200 exchange students in all of its programs every year. In addition to managing the bilateral agreements, Mary Anne has represented ITAM in international associations, including the consortium of PIM, Partnership in International Managements, where she served as a chairperson from 2003-2006 and remains on their advisory board.

Mia Yang Goh

Associate Dean at the Faculty of Law

Mia Yang GOH (LLB) is the Associate Dean at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore (NUS). Reining the helm of the Faculty’s administrative arm since 2001, she oversees the various departments, ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. She also maintains close connections with the Faculty’s graduates and donors through her work in alumni relations and development.
