Dr Weihuan Zhou is a Senior Lecturer at UNSW Law and a member of the Herbert Smith Freehills China International Business and Economic Law (CIBEL) Center. Weihuan publishes widely in the field of international economic law, particularly the laws of the World Trade Organization, trade remedies, free trade agreements and China’s integration into the international economic order, including two recently co-edited books, one on the China – Australia Free Trade Agreement and the other on Non-Market Economies under the WTO, and a forthcoming monograph on China’s Implementation of WTO RulingsWeihuan’s work has been cited in research reports submitted to the European Parliament, EU Parliament Briefings, Australia’s Productivity Commission, Australian Parliament and also by leading experts in his field. Currently, Weihuan is a member of the Executive Council of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) and a guest editor for the Journal of International Trade Law and Policy.  Prior to joining UNSW Law, Weihuan was a trade and commercial lawyer at a top-tier Australian law firm and worked as a consultant at the WTO Secretariat.
