She is a Part-time Professor of Law at ITAM University, where she teaches Property Law, Negotiable Instruments and Credit Transactions. She has an LL.M. on Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Legal Research of Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México (IJJ-UNAM). She is certified on Amparo Proceedings by Universidad Panamericana (Mexico). For over 7 years, she joined the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, where she drafted judgments and developed legal precedents dealing with civil, commercial, finance and insolvency matters, and was formerly a member of the Banking and Finance Group of a Mexican firm dealing with lending and secured transactions, real estate financing, structured cross-border financing, restructurings and workouts. She is a Next-Gen member of the International Insolvency Institute and a member of the Mexican Bar Association.
