Serena Quattrocolo – Associate Professor of Criminal Procedural Law, University of Turin (Italy). Co-director (2016-17) of the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies, London.Graduated from the University of Turin in 1999. In 2003 obtained the PhD title from the University of Genova (Italy), with a doctoral thesis about «Petty offences and prosecutorial powers». The main areas of research are: national and comparative criminal procedural law; EU criminal law; mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, with special regard to corruption. Awarded a Stipendium by Max Planck Institut für Internationales und ausländisches Strafrecht, Freiburg (D) (2014), Faculty member at CTLS (2014-15); visiting professor at FGV Dereito, Sao Paulo (2016). Member of E.L.I., editorial board of the Italian law review La legislazione penale.
