This publication brings together academic contributions from across both ELFA and LSGL networks, exploring key dimensions of legal education in a global context. The articles featured reflect on themes such as:

  • Values-based legal education
  • Inclusive and diverse learning environments
  • Clinical legal education and experiential learning
  • Curriculum reform to promote social responsibility

In an era marked by cross-border legal challenges and increasing demands for global competence, this special issue offers timely insights into how legal education can evolve to better prepare future lawyers for the complexities of today’s legal landscape.

Launch Panel at King’s College London

To mark the release of the special issue, a launch panel was held on 10 September 2025, generously hosted by The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London. The event brought together contributing authors, legal academics, and institutional members for a thoughtful discussion on the future of global legal education.

The panel opened with welcome remarks by LSGL Co-President Eleonora Bottini and LSGL Research Director Veronica Ruiz Abou-Nigm, followed by insights from EJLE Editorial Board Members Nigel Duncan and Izabella Main. We are grateful for their leadership and kind contributions, which helped shape both the issue and the event.

Our sincere thanks go to all the authors, editors, reviewers, and organizers for making this initiative a success — and to King’s College London for their warm hospitality in hosting the launch.
