As part of the LSGL Careers Webinar Series, we are pleased to host Cassia Miho Nakano Hirai, Assistant Dean for Clinical and Extension Programs at FGV Direito SP, and Rodrigo Vianna, Associate Dean for Global School at FGV Direito Rio, for an insightful discussion on the legal market in Brazil.
The webinar will provide an overview of the structure of the Brazilian legal market, key features of legal education and practice, and the main qualification pathways for those interested in pursuing a legal career in Brazil.
This session will be particularly valuable for students and academics seeking to better understand professional opportunities and career trajectories within the Brazilian legal system, especially in a global and comparative context.
We are delighted to announce that the 14th LSGL Summer School will be hosted by Queen’s University Belfast, in Northern Ireland between 20-31 July 2026.
The 14th LSGL Summer School will offer 4 courses – the theme is “Legal Institutions in Times of Change” We would like to invite colleagues from LSGL members interested in co-convening a one-week course for the 14th LSGL Summer School to send their proposals no later than 30 January 2026.

This session will be particularly valuable for students and academics seeking a deeper understanding of professional pathways in an increasingly globalised legal environment.

This event is exclusive to LSGL member institutions. Faculty members, researchers, and scholars affiliated with LSGL member schools are invited to submit their papers for consideration. Applicants should submit an abstract of up to 500 words, together with a short CV in the same Word document. Submissions should be sent to lsglindiaconference@jgu.edu.in by 20 November 2025 with the email subject clearly marked “Abstract Submission LSGL Academic Conference”.
Proposals will be reviewed by a panel consisting of the current LSGL co-presidents and faculty members from O.P. Jindal Global University. Selected presenters will be informed by 15 December 2025.
Papers/presentations should be submitted in advance of the conference by 30 January 2026.
