Graduated from the University of Turin in 1999. In 2003 obtained the PhD title from the University of Genova (Italy), with a doctoral thesis about «Petty offences and prosecutorial powers».

Michael Nietsch

Michael Nietsch, chair of Anti-Corruption Research Group holds the Chair for Private Law, Company Law and Securities Regulation at EBS Law School in Wiesbaden, Germany. Previously he was Associate Professor at Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz at the Centre for German and International Laws of Financial Services. Michael also is director of the Centre for Corporate Compliance at EBS Law School. His publications deal with topics in German and European corporate law giving emphasis to requirements of legal compliance and liability of companies and their directors and officers. Michael is a frequent rapporteur to congresses and has taught nationally and internationally. He is a member to numerous associations of legal professionals and legal scholars.

Emek Toraman Çolgar

Dr. Emek Toraman Çolgar is an assistant professor in the commercial law department Koç University Law School. She holds an LLB and LLM degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and a PhD from Istanbul University. She joined Koç University Law School in 2015. Her areas of research and specialization include Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law and Capital Markets Law.

Juliette Soerensen

Northwestern Pritzker School of Law

Juliet Sorensen is the Harry R. Horrow Professor in International Law with the law school’s Center for International Human Rights, where her teaching and research interests include international criminal law, corruption, and health and human rights. Professor Sorensen is a founder of the Northwestern Access to Health Project, an interdisciplinary partnership that analyzes access to health in resource limited settings. Professor Sorensen received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Master’s in Public Health Program in 2014 and 2015. In 2010, Professor Sorensen was appointed to the American Bar Association’s Global Anti-Corruption Task Force. In 2015, Professor Sorensen was appointed to the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights Working Group on Crimes Against Humanity. Professor Sorensen is the co-author of Public Corruption and the Law: Cases and Materials (West Academic 2017)
